Weekly Progress #2

In this week of working on my Mac application management module, i have decided to expand who my sample audience is going to be.  My inspiration behind creating this module is because my older sister recently made the switch from using a PC to a mac, and she is a little unsure about how to use it. i felt that this module would help her get a Better grasp some of the basics she would need to know.  however i recently decided to test the module on not just only  my sister who has a little experience with a mac but also someone who has no experience with a mac and someone who has a lot of experience using a mac.  I am also working on getting all my content and graphics in order, making sure that everyhing is the way i want it.

  1. Shane, now that you told me why you are doing this it completely makes sense. I have quite a few students who are frightened by Mac operating system. Good luck!

  2. This is a great training lesson to create. I have several students that stop by IDS not knowing how to use a mac very well and have several questions on it.

  3. Shane- I could use your course! I am totally lost on the Macs at both the WIU labs and with the laptop I had to buy for a course last fall- it has barely been used as I just gave up and bought a another PC laptop...So, I offer myself as a subject too:)

  4. Thanks for the comments! im glad to hear that someone thinks my module will be helpful. i already have the people lined up to test my module, but if you anyone wants to read over it and let me know what they think i am always open to new ideas. Susan, and Cory, i am fine if you want to refer students to this blog, its purpose is to teach.
